Capri Tour

Glamour and nostalgia, love and beauty

“Your garments silver and stone, scarcely the blue flower bursts embroidering a hirsute mantel with celestial blood”

Pablo Neruda, The grapes and the wind, 1954

It’s like living, in Neruda’s verses, the broken love between the young Capri and the noble Vesuvius. Two young lovers, whose feelings were thwarted by their respective families.

A bond so strong as to be destined to last forever.

Today the island is exactly where the young girl lies; and Vesuvius, who shed tears of fire in the torment of his pain, watches over her from the mainland.

So far, yet so close, the two lovers will continue to live together, eternally.

The island of Capri is charming, and not only for its beauty; there is nothing ordinary about its solemn atmosphere. It is a magical place caressed by the romanticism of the wind and the poetic waves that touch beaches and natural caves: elegant and cathartic views sealed with the magnificence of the Faraglioni stacks.

Capri’s famous “piazzetta” (square) takes its visitors back to the glamour and nostalgia of the past, a “dolce vita” to be discovered while taking long walks among the boutiques of artisans and timeless alleys.
